Injuries of the spine often involve disc herniation.  This is especially so in situations where high speed trauma or whiplash has occurred.  Herniation goes undetected when doctors are slow to perform valuable diagnostic tests such as MRI's and CT scans.  Our policy is to order testing promptly when indicated.

Further, we wholeheartedly believe in a good dialog with our medical counterparts and actively refer to qualified  specialists when their care is indicated.

Lastly, we routinely obtain copies and review  MRI's and CT films performed elsewhere.  By doing so can better understand your spine and injuries.   Sometimes we find overlooked injuries. When this happens our diagnostic findings are made available to all parties necessary.
